Sharing My Location with Google Maps
Fresh from adding the new 'Helicopter View' to Google Maps driving directions Google has now added a 'My Location' feature. The 'My Location' feature saves you time by automatically adding your location to the starting point field in driving directions.
To share your location with Google Maps you just need to press the grey circle above the yellow pegman figure and below the circular pan control.
